Does a carpenter use just one tool to build a house?  Of course not.

So why do nonprofits use strategic planning for every issue facing their organization's future?  Because until now it has been the only tool in the nonprofit planning tool box.

Strategic Visioning is a new, more flexible, and fully adaptable model of planning.  It harnesses the power of life coaching to delve deep into the heart of the matter and produce exceptional clarity.  It then focuses this clarity to help participants create action plans that are relevant to their goals.

This nimble process of deep inquiry followed by action planning sets Strategic Visioning apart from strategic planning.  And because I structure the entire process based on your organization's unique needs and goals, Strategic Visioning can be as laser focused or comprehensive as you need it to be.

Traditional strategic planning offers a prescribed approach and timeframe (usually 9-12 months), and produces a predictable product:  a three-year plan.  While this process can have great utility, it cannot address every challenge and major decision a nonprofit faces.
