I have worked in the nonprofit sector my entire career.  I love its values and the good it brings to the world.  I feel honored to contribute to something larger than myself that makes a difference in the lives of so many people.

Since 2001 I have headed my own consulting firm to the nonprofit sector, Rigoglioso Inc.  For three years I was chief of operations for The Good Dog Foundation.  Earlier in my career I held senior editorial positions at the United Hospital Fund, the Center for Strategic Communications, and The Picker Institute, a think tank on patient-centered health care.  In 2009, I became a certified life coach.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the New School for Social Research.  I graduated from Coach University and achieved certification from the International Coach Federation in 2009.

I have taught original seminars at the New York University’s George Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, the Support Center for Nonprofit Management, and The United Way-Pace University Wilson Center Not-for-Profit Management Center.

My consulting clients have included:

  • Boston University School of Law
  • Breast Treatment Task Force
  • The Commonwealth Fund
  • East Side House Settlement
  • Gilda's Club Worldwide
  • Girls Write Now
  • The Good Dog Foundation
  • The John A. Hartford Foundation
  • The Hastings Center
  • Lenox Hill Hospital
  • New York City Mission Society
